Raul Escobar

Raul Escobar has over 15 years experience in the social development sector with a focus in business transformation with deep expertise in accounting, financial management and governance. His blended experience includes the monitoring and financial oversight of Department of State (DOS), USAID and multilateral organization grants.

Raul has a proven record of developing innovative and time-saving approaches that has resulted in resource and financial saving for several organizations. He has trained and assisted staff on a variety of topics to improve an organisation’s performance and to sustain change. In 1999 he joined The World Bank where he served as a consultant from 1999 until 2005. Subsequently he has held several positions in the finance/accounting department in different multinational non-government organizations, focusing on international development projects. 

In addition to having to having detailed knowledge of organisational change, Raul speaks Spanish fluently and is a graduate from The George Washington University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Marymount University.
